City tour - Shrine of
Guadalupe - Pyramids of Teotihuacan. During the morning visit the main
streets and avenues of Mexico City. Visit to the main square (called Zocalo,
the National Palace in which you will admire the magnificent frescoes of
Diego Rivera (closed on sundays). The frescoes narrate with images the most
important events of our history during three centuries. We will see the
ruins of the main temple of the Aztecs as well as the Cathedral. Then, you
will make a stop in a handicraft center. On to Chapultepec Park, residential
area, where you will see the homes of famous artists. In the afternoon, on
the way to the sanctuary of Guadalupe short stop by the "Plaza de las 3
Culturas", where you see 3 different periods in the history of mexico
represented by 3 different kind of buildings: an archeological site, a
catholic church and a modern building of foreign affairs ministry. |

We continue our tour to the
Basilica, where you will see the original image of the virgin mary appeard
on a simple piece of fabric belonging to the indian juan diego. You will see
both basilicas, the one of the XVIII century and the one devoted to the
virgin almost three decades ago. On a modern highway we will reach the site
of Teotihuacan "where men become gods" during your tour you will have the
time and opportunity to climb the amazing Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon
as well as to visit the Palace of Quetzal-Butterfly, the
Feather-Snake-temple and the Avenue of the Death as well as the Citadel. (10

Mexico City - Patzcuaro |
Departure to Morelia . City
tour. See the Governor's Palace which was originally a Tridentine seminary
opened in 1770 and which has hold seven hundred seminarists. After
independence the buildng is occupied by the military quarter. Clavijero
Palace, Armor's Plaza and the Aqueduct built in XVIII to supply the city of
Valladolid, former name of Morelia, with water. Fountain of the Tarascas
women. The Church of Gualupita from the XVIII century in Churrigueresco
style. Afterwards continue to Patzcuaro. (aprox. 10 hrs) |

Patzcuaro - Guadalajara |
Visit in the morning the city
of Patzcuaro, former capital of the Purepecha kongdom. This city,
constructed in 1534 has a very special colonial taste quite differnet to the
others. We will see the Church of our Lady the Helath, the house of the 11
patios, the gertrudis Bocanegra Library with its mural paintings of Juan
O´Gorman, the Don Vasco Square and its typical market. Afterwards we will
make a boat trip to the Island of Janitzio. On to Guadalajara. Transfer to
the hotel. (aprox. 08 hrs) |

City tour: Cathedral,
Governor's Palace, Degollado Theater and Orphanage Cabaņas among other sites
of interest.(aprox. 03 hrs) Free afternoon. |

Visit Tlaquepaque. Lunch
included.Departure to Guanajuato.Transfer to the hotel. (aprox. 06 hrs) |

Guanajuato - San Miguel Allende |
City tour: Discover its
subterranean streets and alleys, old buildings full of history, its typical
small plazas which serve as stage in october for different performances
during the Cervantino Festival. Alhondiga, municipal market, Juarez Theater,
university, main square, mine "La Valenciana" and Blind Alley of the Kiss.
Departure to San Miguel de Allende. Arrival in the afternoon and transfer to
hotel. |

City tour san Miguel de
Allende. Allende Institute of Art and Culture. Royal Convent of the
Conception, Church of Saint Michael Archangel and the handicrafts market. On
to Queretaro. City tour. La Casa de la Corregidora, la Casa de la Marquesa,
el Convento de Santa Clara, el Teatro de la Republica, the aqueduct. In the
afternoon transfer to Mexiko-City. Arrival and tranfer to hotel. (aprox. 08
